William Allen "Bill" Pope, a resident of Kentwood, LA, passed away on Monday, March 8, 2021 at Hood Memorial Hospital in Amite, LA. He was born December 31, 1953 in Jackson, MS and was 67 years of age.
He is survived by daughter, Rebecca Pope (Brad Diddon); son, Jack Pope (Miranda McIntyre); grandson, Nicholas Bonura; 2 sisters, Patti Pope Bell (Jim) and Jackie Pope Griffith (James); nieces and nephews, Elizabeth Bell Robault, Caperton Bell, Emma Griffith, and Alec Griffith; aunt, Ollie Blume Johnson.
Preceded in death by parents, Jack and Becky Pope; infant son, Daniel Pope; grandparents, William Caperton Johnson, Nila Inez McGriff Johnson, Clifford Pope, and Irene Gorman Pope; 2 aunts, Patsy Wilkerson and Peggy Taylor.
Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, from 10:00AM until religious services at 12:00 Noon on Friday, March 12, 2021. Services conducted by Pastor Jeff McKneely. Face masks are now mandatory to attend any visitation or service at the funeral home. Thank you for your cooperation.
