Catherine Hart Warner

July 14, 1955 - February 03, 2021

“For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.” II Timothy 4:6-8

Mrs. Catherine Marie Hart Warner was born July 14, 1955 to the late Mr. and Mrs. Oscar and Mrytle Hart. She was a member of Greater Hayes Creek Missionary Baptist Church until she moved to New Orleans where she devoted her life to taking care of children which turned into her own business. She received her education from Washington Parish and Pine High School.

She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Elvin Brown; son, Erick (Ashun) Warner, Sr.; daughter, KiEricka Hart; grandchildren, Erick Warner, Jr. and Bryson Noah Warner; one sister, Mildred Causey; four brothers, Alton Hart of Bogalusa, LA, Alvin and Otis Hart of Franklinton, LA, Roan Hart of New Orleans, LA; one aunt, Blanche Cooper of New Orleans, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Myrtle Hart and her brothers, Jurley and Terry Hart.

A drive-through viewing will be held on Monday, February 8, 2021 at Crain and Sons Funeral Home – Franklinton from 2:00PM – 6:00PM.

A Funeral service held on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Crain and Sons Funeral Home - Franklinton at 11:00AM with Rev. Jerome Warren, Pastor Officiating. 

Crain and Sons Funeral Home – Franklinton are in Charge of Arrangements.
