She was born on February 17, 1933 in Tylertown, MS to the late Hamlin W. Johnson and Velma Thomas Johnson. Hilda was a homemaker and hair stylist, working in her shop for many years. Over 25 years of her life were spent as the hair stylist at Heritage Manor. Hilda dearly loved and served countless ladies and gentlemen through the years and she would do anything she could to help them. She took every opportunity to comfort them, often asking residents and staff “Do you know my Jesus?” “Mrs. Hilda” was well known and loved before she herself became a resident there in 2018.
