Entergy representative Patrick Hamby reported to the Washington Parish Council Monday (February 22, 2021) evening on the progress to reduce the noise levels at the power plant near Bogalusa. Hamby advised that Entergy is working to maximize the reduction level of noise, that the target level is a reduction to 45 to 50 decibels, and that construction start has been pushed back to begin the last of August or early September of 2021.
