Pedro Martinez Garcia

December 21, 1975 - January 16, 2021

Pedro Martinez Garcia was a member of the catholic church. He was born and raised in Trujillo, Mexico. At the age of 16, Pedro immigrated to the state of Texas in search of a better life. In 1999, he returned to Mexico where he married Marina Cruz Reyes. The then conceived four wonderful children who he would do anything for. Pedro asked the Lord to grant him the blessing of bringing his family to the United States of America. Pedro’s greatest devotion was to provide, protect, educate, and most importantly, love his family. Pedro would wake up every morning and put on his work clothes and his work boots. He would always say, “I have to go out and do something. I can’t just sit around doing nothing.”

Pedro was an outstanding old-fashioned father, husband, and son. Everybody that knew him knows that he was truly a trustworthy and friendly guy.

Pedro leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Marina Martinez; sons, Juan and Santos Martinez; daughters, Maria Asuncion and Rosa Elia Martinez all of Bogalusa, LA; mother, Daria Martinez of Austin, TX; brothers, Victor Martinez of Trujillo, Mexico and Marciano Martinez of Austin, TX; and sisters, Vicenta and Socorro Martinez both of Trujillo, Mexico.

He is preceded in death by his father, Felipe Martinez.

A Drive through viewing will be Friday, January 22, 2021 at Crain and Sons Funeral Home - Bogalusa from 3:00PM - 6:00PM.

A Graveside service will be Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 1:00PM at Ponemah Cemetery with Father Bru - Pastor Officiating. 

Crain and Sons Funeral Home - Bogalusa are in charge of arrangements.
