Tropical Storm Eta is presenting a danger to the Florida Gulf Coast with tropical-storm-force winds. Warnings will be extended to the east coast later today.
A tropical wave located over the central Caribbean Sea is gradually becoming better organized, and a tropical depression will likely form within the next couple of days as it moves slowly westward over the central and western Caribbean Sea. Formation chance through 48 hours is at 80% and formation chance through 5 days is at 90%.
Tropical Storm Theta remains no threat to us.
