Otha Williams, Jr.

July 24, 1944 - November 5, 2020

Otha Williams, Jr., age 76 and a resident of the Lawrence Creek Community, died Thursday morning November 5, 2020 at Riverside Medical Center. He was retired after a 20 year career working in the oil fields with Pride International. Earlier in life, he was a truck driver. Otha attended Lawrence Creek Missionary Baptist Church. He loved to go to the Washington Parish Fair each year, camping out, cooking and visiting with his family and friends. Otha loved quail, deer and any type of hunting and he also loved to go fishing.

Survived by: Wife: Karen Magee Williams of Lawrence Creek; 6 Children and Spouses: Karen and Joe Wheat of Plainview, Mike Williams, Joy and Jimmy Martin all of Thomas, Rhonda and Pat Beall of Pine, Victoria and Jodi Cox of Alexandria, LA, Jessica Williams Miller of Lawrence Creek; Grandchildren and Spouses: Glen and Bethany Seal, Lee and Evelyn Applewhite, Brittany Applewhite and fiancé Blake Lam, Hope Williams, Liza and Josh Forbes, Dylon Martin, Cody and Emily Beall, Stony Beall, Eron Williams, Levi Cox, Liam Miller, Leden Miller, Levi Miller, Lauren and Eric McDaniel; Great-grandchildren: Kylie Seal, Kale Seal, Kase Seal, Elizabeth McMillian, Colby Applewhite, Jude Forbes, Jacob Forbes, Jonah Forbes, Jessie Forbes, Skyelynn Beall, Stormy Beall, Stony Lee Beall, Kinley Williams, Eron Williams, Caroline McDaniel, Wyatt McDaniel; 2 Brothers and a Sister in law: Johnny Williams of Walker, George and Lisa Williams of Angie; 6 Sisters and Brothers in law: Delores McNeese of Pine, Janice Kennedy of Stateline, Beverly and Lavon Rester of Pine, Anita Williams of Bush, Jackie and Randy Ezell of Franklinton, Kim and Lauren McLaurin; Brothers in law and Sisters in law: K. Roy and Joyce Magee, Mack Magee, Vivian and Bruce Ard, Ramona Magee; Also numerous nieces, nephews and other family members

He was preceded in death by his parents Otha Williams, Sr. and Audrey Tynes Williams, sister and brother in law Aline and Billy Graves, sister in law Judy Williams, brothers in law Elmo McNeese, Bill Kennedy, Walter Lavinghouse, Bob Magee.

Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Saturday November 7th from 11:00 am until 12:40 pm. A graveside funeral service will be held in the Lawrence Creek-Magee Cemetery at 1:00 pm Saturday with Eld. Duane Ball officiating.
