Obituary

Delores Paulette Westbrooks

August 26, 1945 - November 01, 2020

Paulette Westbrooks was born to the late Julius and Neamer Westbrooks  on August 26, 1945. On the night of October 31, 2020 into the early morning of November 1, 2020, she went home from this world.  Her journey here with us is now complete. 

She attended Washington Parish School System. She was a lifelong resident of Franklinton La, where she was a retired homemaker. She was loved by all who knew her. She took in and cared for any and all that she was able to. She was a community activist and she loved giving back to her community.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Julius and Neamer Westbrooks, sisters: Lora Toca, Ruth Bennett, LaVern Hayes, Dorothy Baham, Brothers: Clifford, Mitchell, Fessie and Paul Westbrooks, children: a set of twins, Robbie and Robin and a daughter, Ruthie Westbrooks; grandchildren, Billy and Bob Robertson and Brittany Bickham.

She leaves to cherish her memories her children: Clifford Westbrooks, Gina Davison of Denham Springs; Tracy Magee of Baton Rouge, Steven Westbrooks of Denham Springs and Terrance Handy (James) of Franklinton,LA, Her grandchildren: Quola Magee, Brodrick Magee, LaQuaris Westbrooks, Steven Magee, Deon Westbrooks, (Shandreka), Jonathan Bickham, Keyon Bickham (Jennifer), Sundra Davison, Sonja Davison, Chasity Aaron, one sister: Julia Walker of Springfield LA; two brothers; Gary Westbrooks of Hammond, LA and Nathaniel(Mary) Westbrooks.  A host of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. She also leaves behind some special friends; Ester Magee, Crystal and Jody Oncale and her belated friend Louise Kagler.

She had caretakers that loved and enjoyed her and she enjoyed them and the services that they provided for her; they are; Faye Lewis, Christina Bickham, Margaret Myles and  Marie. They took really good care of her.

She also had some special outside grandchildren who called her "Maw Maw"; Richard Lowe Jr and Donell Hart are among a few.

Services will be on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Cook Richmond Funeral Home of Franklinton, Louisiana. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the Funeral Service at 1:00 PM.
