James Edward Causey, Sr.
June 24, 1954 - October 24, 2020

James Edward Causey Sr. 66, departed his life on Saturday, October 24,2020 at St. Tammy Hospital in Covington, LA. He was born June 24, 1954 to the late Edgar Causey Jr. and Mary (Rushing) Causey in Bogalusa, LA.
He graduated from Franklinton High School. After High School he went to work at the Bogalusa Papermill for many years.
He leaves to cherish and honor his memories one son, James (Christina) Causey Jr. of Franklinton, LA; one daughter, LaTanya Causey of Hammond, LA; one brother, Larry (Stephanie) Causey of Franklinton, LA; one sister, Carolyn Peters of Elkhart, Indiana; James aka Sugaboy also left behind five grandchildren, Jamie Brumfield, JaKyra Brumfield, Ja’Mirel Causey, Jameirica Sims all of Franklinton, LA, and Layla Bell of Hammond LA; a host of relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by parents, Edgar Causey Jr., and Mary (Rushing) Causey; two sisters, Waver and Veronica Causey.
