Linda Jean Garrett Rhone

December 18, 1951 - October 11, 2020

Linda Jean Garrett Rhone was born on December 18, 1951 to the late David and Sarah Lee Garrett of Franklinton, La. Linda was a member of Winan United Methodist Church, she graduated from Franklinton High School, thereafter she moved to Houston, Texas where she met and married Lewis Rhone (deceased) that union produced two daughters. She later moved to New Iberia, La. and married Carlton Granger.

She leaves to mourn her passing, two daughters, Kawanza Rhone Of Denver, Colorado and Treai Carletta Rhone of Houston, Texas; three sisters; Brenda Garrett, Olga (Tina) Hall of Houston, Texas and Angel Garrett of Franklinton, La.; eight brothers, Charles Coleman of Hammond, La., Ronald Garrett of Angie, La., Ricky Garrett of Franklinton, La., Torra Garrett of McComb, Miss., Glynn Garrett, David Garrett Jr., Willup Garrett, and Abbott Garrett of Houston, Texas, Carlton Granger of New Iberia, La.

She was preceded in death by her parents David and Sarah Lee Garrett; brothers, Billy Gene Garrett (her twin), Bobby Ray Coleman, and Calvin Garrett; sister, Carletta Garrett and one grandson.

A graveside will be held on Friday, October 23, 2020 at Winan Cemetery with Rev. Terrence August - Officiating.
