Thelma Marie Kehoe

July 29, 1925 - October 15, 2020

Thelma Marie Kehoe, age 95 and a resident of Franklinton, died Thursday night October 15, 2020 at Riverside Medical Center. She operated a chain of Gulf States Theaters for many years and later managed apartment buildings in Gautier, MS prior to the destruction of Hurricane Katrina. Thelma then moved to Franklinton to help set-up and manage the Riverview Apartments during its first few years. She loved to sew and had operated an alteration and cleaners business for several years. Thelma enjoyed painting and was a good artist, with her love of art being handed down from her grandmother.

Survived by: 3 Sons: Carman Vanover, Jr. of Brandon, MS, Don Vanover, Michael Vanover both of Franklinton; 6 Grandchildren; Sister: Ruth M. Nardella of New York; Also numerous other family members

She was preceded in death by her son Eddie Vanover, husbands Carman Vanover, Sr., Thomas Kehoe, parents Clarence McKlemmery and Ruth McKinzie McKlemmery and 5 siblings.

A private memorial service will be held for her family. She will be laid to rest alongside her son, parents and other family members in the Hollywood Cemetery in McComb, MS.
