No License Plate Gets Mt. Hermon Woman Jailed for Drugs

On Tuesday (October 6, 2020), Washington Parish Sheriff’s Office Deputy Kyle Stogner was patrolling on Highway 21 north of Bogalusa when he spotted a vehicle with no license plate. He initiated a traffic stop and, when he approached the vehicle, smelled a strong odor of marijuana.

The driver, Erin Fisher, age 37 and a resident of D. Wascom Road in Mt. Hermon, was in possession of marijuana, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. She was arrested and transported to the Washington Parish Jail where she was booked on the drug charges plus not having a license plate.

Fisher has one previous 2020 arrest in Washington Parish. On July 31, 2020 she was arrested and jailed for possession of illegal drugs with intent to distribute, two counts of possession of illegal drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, obstruction of a roadway and no proof of insurance.

Sheriff Randy Seal commented. “Once again, I compliment Deputy Stogner for his pro-active work. Good work, Kyle!”
