Ruby Marie Seal

October 17, 1939 - September 25, 2020

Ruby M. Seal, passed away at her home on Friday September 25, 2020. Ruby was a native and life long resident of Franklinton, LA. She was a long time member of Midway Missionary Baptist Church. Ruby loved her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Two of her hobbies were to shop and putting up preserves.

Mrs. Ruby is survived by three sons: Gary Lewis of Franklinton, LA., Scottie Stogner and his wife Kelly of Franklinton, LA. and Walter F. Stogner. One daughter: Renee Stogner Spears and her husband Randy of Franklinton, LA. Also survived by seven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. And also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and other friends and family members.

Ruby is preceded in death by her loving Wilber “Sug” Seal of fifteen years,parents Fleet Magee and Maddie Scarver Magee, one brother Pete Magee and one sister Altha Lang Welch.

Services will be at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home in Bogalusa, Louisiana on September 30, 2020. Visitation will be from 10:30 AM until the Funeral Service at 2:00 PM. Officiating will be Bro. Keith Branch, and Bro. Mark Hobgood. Interment will be at Midway Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Tyler Stogner, Austin Sumrall, Kody Sumrall Kolton Jones, Justin Jones, and Trent Ard. Honorary pallbearers will be Luke Sumrall, Drake Sumrall, and Gary Lewis.
