Obituary

Berry Alan Knight
April 11, 1966 - August 5, 2020

Berry Alan Knight, age 54 and a resident of Pine, died Wednesday morning August 5, 2020 at his home. He was a graduate of Pine High School and he then obtained certification in welding. Berry worked as a welder in Bogalusa for many years. He always enjoyed riding horses and bass fishing along the Pearl River.

“Lord, Mend my heart—It is torn, Heal my spirit—It is weak. Fill me with Your love, so I won’t feel empty. Let Your light shine on me, within me and from me. Let all Your good things make me whole. Keep me safe, Lord, as I follow You and do Your will. Amen”

Survived by: Son: Berrett Knight and Denise Hasney of Poplarville, MS; Grandchildren: Kaiyden, Nevaeh, Lelan; Father and Step-mother: J. P. and Barbara Knight of Arizona; 3 Brothers: Jeffrey Knight, Regan Knight both of Pine, Derek Knight of Franklinton; Step-sister: Dee Ann Knight of Bogalusa; Uncle and Aunts: Lavon and Betty Kemp of Lumberton, MS, Daisy Knight of Bogalusa; Former Wife and Mother of his Son: Jennifer Davis Magee

He was preceded in death by his mother Carolyn Kemp Knight, grandparents Seamon and Letha Knight, Sidney G. and Bevie Kemp, step-sister Cora Jean Knight.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday August 8th in the Pine Community Cemetery with Eld. Donnie Broom officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to help with final expenses.
