Roy R. Adams
March 2, 1943 - August 6, 2020
Roy R. Adams, passed away on Thursday morning, August 7, 2020, at his home in Amite, LA. Roy loved coon hunting, riding horses. He was a pillar of his community, and will greatly missed by all he came in contact with.
Roy is survived by two sons Troy Adams of Butler, AL., and Randy Adams of Butler, AL. One brother Bill Adams of New Ulm, TX. Two sisters Sue Palmer of Amite, LA and Diane Parker of Jackson, MS. Six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. As well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents William and Alma Corley Adams. Five brothers TC Adams, Willis Adams, Richard Adams, and William Adams, Jr, Phildon Adams. Five sisters Oephlia Hodge, Ines Woodard, Liza Thomas, Elsie Adams, and Baby Adams.
Services will be at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home in Bogalusa, Louisiana. Visitation will be on Augusst 10, 2020 from 10:00 AM until the Funeral Service at 1:00 PM. Interment in Ruben Adams Cemetery.
