Obituary

Eddie Will Moses, Sr.

January 22, 1937 - August 16, 2020

Your life was a blessing. Your memory a treasure. You were loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure.

On August 16, 2020 at the age of 83, Bro. Eddie Will Moses, Sr. was called into his eternal rest. He was one of seven children, born to the late Jerry and Francis Mark Moses of Angie, LA on January 22, 1937.

He united in marriage to Cathy Nell Morris Moses on February 9, 1957. To this union six children were born.

He joined New Zion Missionary Baptist Church at late age under leadership of Rev. Dr. Linza Ray Cotton. He served faithfully until his health failed.

He leaves to mourn his loving wife, Cathy Nell Morris Moses; five children, Vera “Mickey” Bolds, Linda (Alexander) Sheridan, Rodney (Anice) Moses, Ursula (Terris) Crumedy and Jerry Moses, all of Angie, LA; four brothers, Leonard Jerry (Flo) Moses, James Alton (Dorothy) Moses, Anderson (Merlie) Moses of Angie, LA; Charles Moses of Godwin, N.C.; one sister, Mildred Moses Rivers of Wadesboro, N.C.; 16 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, and 8 great great grandchildren.

He reared 2 grandchildren, Rodney (Oma) Holmes, Sr. of Bogalusa, LA and Ros’Shonda Moses-Davis and a great granddaughter, Tyrlah Davis of Angie, LA who loved him dearly

He was preceded in death by his parents, the late Jerry and Francis Mark Moses; his siblings, Thelma Comeaux, Theodore Moses, Sr., Gwendolyn Moses Smith, Emma White, Venda Lee Moses, Lena Mage Moses, Audre Moses, Ardean Footes; his son Eddie Will Moses, Jr.

There will be a drive through viewing on Friday, August 21 from 9:00AM – 2:00PM. The family hour will be from 4:00PM- 5:00PM at Crain and Sons Funeral Home – Bogalusa.

Funeral service will be Saturday, August 22, 2020 at 5:00PM at Crain and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Linzie Ray Cotton – Officiating. Interment will be held on Suday, August 23, 2020 at Moses Cemetery in Angie, LA at 11:00AM.
