Shirley Jenkins
July 3, 1943 - July 22, 2020



Mrs. Shirley Jenkins, passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2020, at the age of 77, at Pontchartrain Guest House, in Mandeville, LA. Shirley loved to sing gospel music and play the piano.

Shirley is survived by her husband Clyde C. Jenkins of 30 years of Covington, LA. Three sons Anthony Lambert and his wife Stacy of Cleveland TX., Dale Jenkins and his wife Kim of Bush, LA., and Denny Jenkins and his wife Michelle of Loranger, LA. Two daughters Diane Lambert and her husband Teddy of Mandeville, LA., and Denise Manton and her husband Murphy of Columbia, MS. One brother Samuel A. Brock and his wife Sherry of Sandy Hook, MS. Four sisters Geneva Simmons and her husband Billy Jack of Baton Rouge, LA. Ola Dean Lee and her husband Bobby of Lafayette, LA., Judy Everage and her husband Ernest of Lake Charles, LA., and Shelia Boswell and her husband James of Philadelphia, MS. Nine grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and other friends and family members.

She is preceded in death by her parents Sandy A. Brock and Lexie Mae Holmes Brock.

Services will be at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home in Bogalusa, Louisiana. Visitation will be from 10:00 PM to 1:00 PM on July 27, 2020 followed by the Funeral Service. Interment will be at Ponemah Cemetery in Bogalusa.
