Grand Jury Indicts Former Bogalusa Chamber Director on Theft Charge

District Attorney Warren Montgomery reports that a Washington Parish grand jury indicted Marilyn G. Bateman, age 77 and of Bogalusa, Tuesday (July 21, 2020) on a charge of theft over $25,000.

Bateman, former director of the Bogalusa Chamber of Commerce, is accused of stealing at least $100,000 from the organization.

Assistant District Attorney Blair B. Alford presented the case to the grand jury.
