Susan Dykes Smith a resident of Magnolia, MS, passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2020 at her home. She was born March 10, 1949 in Bogalusa, LA and was 71 years of age.

She is survived by her husband, Carlton E. Smith, Sr.; 3 children, Dorothy, William Edenfield and Carlton Smith, Jr.; 3 step children, Terry Wayne Smith, Mitchell Smith and Sharon Smith Austin; 8 grandchildren, Jason Edenfield, Cody Smith, Brent Smith, Cassia Smith, Mark Burgess, Courtney, Allie and Jessica Smith, and Cole Tallia; 3 sisters, Evelyn McCallister, Janice Jarreau and Jessica Rae Kling; 9 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her parents, Emma Travis Dykes and Coy Dykes, Sr.; 4 sisters, Tressie Mae Seals, Emma Neal Dykes, Della Rose Dykes and Linda June Lebo; 3 brothers, Coy Dykes, Jr., Buddy Dykes and John Henry Dykes.

Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Kentwood, from 9:00AM until religious services at 11:00AM on Monday, June 29, 2020. Services conducted by Bro. Melvin Rushing. Interment Tangipahoa Cemetery, Tangipahoa, LA.
