Christole Young Washington
August 11, 1962 - May 31, 2020



Christole Young Washington was born on August 11, 1962 in Franklinton, LA to the late Josephine Washington and JC Chatman. She departed her life at the age of 58 on May 31, 2020. She attended Washington Parish Schools. She worked at numerous jobs throughout her lifetime, baby sitting and a laborer at Windmill Nursery.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories two sons; Rasheed “Pokey” (Geona) Washington and Michael “Dooley” Washington; two daughters, Ashanti Young and Alliyah Young Washington; grandchildren, Rylen Washington, Kelis Warren, Natarra Washington, Keyshia Bridges, and Myxxon Washington; brothers, Michael Washington of Franklinton, LA, James Chatman, Donnel Chatman, Donnie Tate, Jerry Chatman, Curtis Chatman; sisters, Idena Brock of Franklinton, LA, Gwendolyn (Calvin) Vernon of Forth Worth, TX, Delphine Armstrong Wollridge (Robert), Patricia Dykes, Tonya Dykes, Tresa Dykes, and Corisa Dykes all of Franklinton, LA, Phenise Chatman, Jan Chatman, Valarie Davis; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Josephine Washington and JC Chatman; two sisters, Virginia Dale Washington and Clara Evette Palmer; and two brothers, Robert Earl Washington and Tommy Chatman.

A Funeral Service will be held at 6:00 PM Saturday, June 6, 2020 at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Franklinton, Louisiana.
