Adele Hawthorne Valliant
November 24, 1926 - June 19, 2020
Adele Hawthorne Valliant, age 93 and a resident of Mt. Hermon, died Friday, June 19, 2020 at her daughter’s residence in Mt. Hermon.
She was affectionately known as “Granny” by all that knew and loved her. She seemed to be born under a wandering star as she liked to travel. She enjoyed playing card and board games with her family.
Survived by: 2 Daughters: Donna V. McFarlain, Alice V. Holmes; 2 Sons: Wayne Valliant, Lewis Valliant; Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her son Ray D. Valliant, her parents Don N. and Ada Lee Warren Hawthorne, and her twin brother Warren “Buster” Hawthorne.
A family service will be held at a later date.
