Three People Shot During Altercation in Slidell Neighborhood

The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office advised this morning (May 22, 2020) that three people were

shot during an altercation in a Slidell-area neighborhood Thursday (May 21, 2020) night. Shortly after 9 p.m. deputies were dispatched to the Kingspoint Subdivision area near Slidell in reference to multiple individuals being shot.

Responding deputies learned a group of individuals had gotten into an altercation at a residence in the 200 block of Hollow Rock Court and gunfire was exchanged. Three individuals, one female and two males, were brought to area hospitals with gunshot wounds. They are reported to be in critical, but stable, condition. A fourth individual was treated at a local hospital with other injuries sustained in the fight, which is believed to have originated at a Slidell-area business before the parties relocated the Hollow Rock Court residence.
