Billie Ann Caves Sumrall
January 18, 1943 - May 22, 2020



Billie Ann Caves Sumrall, age 77 and a resident of Franklinton, died early Friday morning May 22, 2020 at the Forest Manor Nursing Home in Covington. She worked in the cafeteria of Franklinton Elementary School for 25 years and later worked for 10 years at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in the housekeeping department. Ann enjoyed taking shopping trips to Wal-Mart with her sister and niece every chance that she could and watching old Western shows. She loved taking care of her family and always loved visiting at their large family gatherings.

Survived by: 2 Sons: Raymond Sumrall, Sr., James Murle Sumrall, Jr. both of Bogalusa; Grandchildren: Raymond Sumrall, Jr. of Bogalusa, James Alan Sumrall, Candice S. Jones both of Texas; Siblings and their Spouses: Golda Sumrall of Franklinton, Tommy Louis and Nell Caves of Bogalusa, Floyd and Lola Caves of Enon, Donald Ray Caves of Amite; Also numerous nieces, nephews, brothers in law and sisters in law

She was preceded in death by her husband James Murle Sumrall, Sr., parents Bill Caves and Agnes Corkern Caves, a sister Betty Ann Brewer, brothers John Caves, “Roy” Roger Dale Caves.

Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Sunday May 24th from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 pm Sunday with Bro. Steven Keys officiating. Burial will follow in Ellis Cemetery.
