Do You Recognize This Person Wanted by Amite Police?

On Saturday (May 23, 2020), Amite City Police began investigating a robbery that occurred in front of Thrift Town Pharmacy in Amite. The victim left the business and walked to her vehicle in the parking lot.

After seated in her vehicle, the black male shown in these photos runs to her vehicle and opens her door. The suspect attempts to take the victims keys and start the vehicle but failed. The suspect was able to take the victim’s wallet that was sitting on the passenger side seat and fled the scene. The suspect was last seen running East on Walnut Street in the direction of US 51.
