$700,500 Bond Set for Alleged Drug Dealer in Tangipahoa Parish

Today (April 22, 2020), Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff Daniel Edwards reports that bond has been set at $700,500.00 for an alleged drug dealer caught with a slew of illegal narcotics and cash during a roadside investigation on April 19, 2020, around 5:00 a.m.

Harbir Singh (33) of Hammond was taken into custody and charged with 12 counts of possession with the intent to distribute CDS II, possession of firearm while in possession of a CDS, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession with the intent to distribute CDS IV after deputies located him passed out behind the wheel of his vehicle at a stop sign at the intersection of Randall Rd. and Magnolia Crossing.

Subsequent investigations led deputies in locating a slew of illegal narcotics, cash currency, a firearm, and drug paraphernalia. Substances seized included multiple doses of suspected Oxycodone, Hydrocodone, Adderall, and Tramadol.
