Obituary

Kimberly Nicole Hart
December 09, 1968 - March 24, 2020

For I am ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.  I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course , I have kept the faith: 2  Timothy 4: 6-7.

Kimberly Nicole Hart was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on December 9, 1968 to Harry and Jeanette Hart. Kimberly was the only girl of 4 children, Harry Patrick Hart, Garvin Hart (Tanya) and Dewayne Hart.  She later married Michael Royal On October 1, 1988. Kimberly became a mother to 4 sons Raynord (Terri), Michael, Tavis and Semaj.  She was the proud grandmother of Taylor and Riley Hart.  Preceding her in passing was her father, Harry Hart and her eldest brother, Harry Patrick Hart.

Kimberly attended St. David Catholic Elementary School and graduated from Nicholls Senior High School, class of 1988.  She attended Delta College of Metairie for Nursing.  She always had a passion for helping others, which led her to work with the elderly,  She was loved and adored by her patients.

Kimberly accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age, she was baptized in Jesus' name.  Kimberly was a true worshipper at  heart.  Her faith in God was unwavering.  Her reverence and love for God led her to her greatest role in the church-Praise and Worship Leader.  Her God given gift of singing and praise was shared at 2nd Mt. Carmel Baptist Church and Jerusalem  Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Elder Cedric Wilson.

Kimberly was a loving and devoted wife and mother.  Her charismatic personality and infectious  laugh won over the hearts of many.  She was joyful, no matter what life threw at her.  She possessed a calm, judgement-free, and empathetic demeanor.  She truly brought sunshine to our days.

Prior to her untimely passing, she sat in her living room singing and reminiscing on her favorite gospel songs from her childhood.  She was thankful foe everything that God had given to her.  Kimberly was never ashamed to tell  people about joy of accepting Christ in your life; furthermore, she was a living inspiration.

Kimberly leaves to cherish her memory; Her mother Jeanette Hart of Franklinton, LA; Her sons: Raynord (TerrI) ; Michael, Travis, and Semaj all of New Orleans,La; Her brothers  Garvin Sr (Tanya) Hart of Franklinton, LA; Dwan Hart of New Orleans,LA; grandchildren: Taylor and Riley Hart of New Orleans, LA, and a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousin and friends.
