COVID-19 Update (Louisiana) March 17, 2020 at 9:30 am

Notice that one case from Washington Parish is new and the number of deaths reported in Louisiana has increased to 4. Two of the deaths, a 58-year-old and a 53-year-old, both reported to have underlying medical conditions, were Orleans Parish residents being treated at Touro Infirmary Hospital and Medical Center in New Orleans. The third reported death is of a 84-year-old resident of Lambeth House, an assistant living facility in Orleans Parish. The fourth death is of an 80-year-old Orleans Parish resident who lived at Lambeth House in New Orleans.
