Pearl River Police Arrest Three Wanted Persons

The Pearl River Police Department reports the arrests last week (February 13, 2020) of three wanted by other agencies. Arrested were 22-year old Drake Rinkus, (Chalmette, LA) for multiple warrants from the St. Bernard Parish Sheriff's Department, 19-year-old Connor Taylor (Carriere, MS) for multiple warrants from the Pearl River County Sheriff's Department and 23-year-old Jason Hammerstone (Carriere, MS) for a warrant from the Pearl River County Sheriff's Department. Hammerstone was additionally arrested for illegal possession of schedules I, II, and IV controlled dangerous substances.

The arrests were made after Pearl River County Sheriff's Department Investigators notified the Pearl River Police Department that Taylor, who was wanted for a residential burglary that included grand larceny of a side by side vehicle, was believed to be hiding-out in the area.

The Pearl River Police Department acted quickly and successfully apprehended Taylor, Rinkus and Hammerstone without incident.
