Luaner Pigott Spikes
July 03, 1949 - February 16, 2020



Luaner Pigott Spikes transitioned from earthly existence on February, 16, 2020 at 4:05PM at Our Lady of the Angels Hospital in Bogalusa, LA. She was born on July 3, 1949 in Bogalusa, LA to the late Ernest R. “Boog” and Inez (Myers) Pigott. She attended and graduated from Wesley Ray High School.

She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband of 51 years, Leroy Spikes; their three children and their spouses that will miss her presence, Felicia (Ryan, Sr.) Jefferson of Angie, LA, Dominicia (Patrick) Morgan of Mansfield, TX, and Ray (Jamekia) Spikes of Bogalusa, LA; her greatest joy came from their six grandchildren, Hope, Kelvin, DeAntrez, Ryan, Jr., Kelsi, and DeAntay; four brothers, William (Stella), Bernard (Maricel), Irvin (Gwen), and Kenneth (Ella); four sisters, Doris (Charles) Jackson, Undrethia Moses, Debra (Andre – Deceased) Peters, and Tracey (Regynold – Deceased) Robinsons; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, Burome (Arletha) Brumfield, Montreal (Earnestine) Brumfield, and Trinett (Derrick) McGowan, and Andie Peters (Angela), were their blessings as godchildren; and a special niece and nephew that they helped to raise as their own, Andre Peters (Angela) and Preshitta Peters; and a special great nephew, Kyle “K.J.” Harry, Jr.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2020 from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Crain and Sons Funeral Home Chapel – Bogalusa, LA.

Funeral service scheduled for Friday, February 20, 2020 at 12:00 noon at Wesley Ray United Methodist Church – Angie, LA with Rev. Terrence S. August, Officiating.

Interment in Wesley Ray Cemetery.

Crain and Sons Funeral Home – Bogalusa in charge of arrangements.
