Florence Juanita Dillard Mitchell, a native and a lifelong resident of Bogalusa, passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2020 at Resthaven Living Center in Bogalusa, LA at the age of 77.
She is survived by her daughters, Rebecca Hardin of Franklinton, LA and Carolyn Lewis of Euless, TX; son, John (Wanita) Mitchell of Franklinton, LA; sister, Linda (Anthony) Kalinanskas of Bogalusa, LA; brother, Samuel (Linda) Dillard of Woodville, MS. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Acey Mitchell, Jr.; son, Charles H. Mitchell; sister, Jeanette Bounds; brother, Ray Dillard.
Funeral Services will be held in the Chapel of Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home, Bogalusa, LA on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. with Bro. Fred Brumfield officiating. Interment will follow in Dillard Cemetery, Bogalusa. LA
A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 9 A.M. until service time at 11 A.M.
