The Washington Parish Council meets Monday (January 13, 2019) with five new members joining two who re-elected. Joe Culpepper (District 1), Shawn Rice (District 2), Kim Wagner (District 3), Clark Harry (District 4), Rusty Fornea (District 5), Reginald McMasters (District 6), and Carley King (District 7) will be sworn into office at 5:00 PM at the Courthouse in Franklinton. Only Reginald McMasters and Rusty Fornea are returning members.Following the swearing-in ceremony, the Council will begin work by electing a Council Chairman and Vice-Chairman to serve during 2020. The agenda includes the approval of minutes of previous Council meetings, consideration of ten (10) Resolutions, Public Participation, the President's Report, and Council Discussions.
