Mrs. Shanell Mark-Magee was born March 19, 1977 to Leatrice M. Smith and Ray Pack. She departed this life on November 13, 2019. She has two children she loved whole-heartedly, Dasia R. Mark and D’Angelo L. Mark.
She was a graduated class of 1995 from Varnado High School. She also attended the Ultimate Medical Academy receiving her Associates Degree in Medical Billing and Coding.
Shanell united in Holy matrimony on December 20, 2008 with her husband of 10 years, Kenric Magee.
Shanell leaves to cherish her memories, a loving husband, Kenric Magee; daughter, Dasia R. Mark; son D’Angelo L. Mark; step-daughter, Kendricka Greely all of Bogalusa, LA; parents, Leatrice M. Smith and Ray Pack of Varnado, LA, and Larry Smith of New Orleans, LA; Sisters, Shree Smith of Varnado, LA and Urseka (Dennis) Daniels of Virginia; brothers, Larry (Tenja) , Jr. of New Orleans, LA, Kendall Smith, Bobby Smith, Christopher Smith, and Ray Pack of Varnado, LA; 15 aunts and 15 uncles; mother-in-law. Andronette (Larry) Lott of McComb, MS; father-in-law, Ralph Burns of Bogalusa, LA; sisters-in-law, Jackie Magee of Bogalusa, LA and Candis Brumfield of Hammond, LA; Tiffany Trawick, Terrah Bell, Stassa Sylvester, and Natalie Ratcliff, who were like sisters; God-mother, Dornis Mark; and a host of nieces nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Madeline L. Mark; grandparents, Elnora Robinson, Otis Mark, Ann Pack, Shelton Robinsons; and great-grandparent, Sophia Pigott.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm with funeral service to follow at New Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 64115 Par Rd 420, Angie, LA 70426 with Rev. Linzie Cotton, pastor officiating. Interment – Robinsons Cemetery, Varnado, LA.
