Mrs. Lillian H. Powe passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at Pontchartrain Living Center in Mandeville, LA. She was a native and longtime resident of Bogalusa, LA, where she was a member of Superior Avenue Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Huey F. Powe of Bogalusa, LA; son, Gary G. Dillon (Rosanna Lois) of Bogalusa, LA; her grandchildren, Scott Brant (Kelly) of Bogalusa, LA, Chrissy Ann Seawright of Bogalusa, LA, and Shannon Dillon of Bogalusa, LA. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Monroe and Mary Jane Hunt; her daughter, Brenda Gail Jenkins; her grandson, Lane Brant; her siblings, George L. Hunt and Emma Lee Wallace.
Services celebrating her life will be at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home & Crematory on Friday, November 15, 2019. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. and continue until the service begins at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Clay Norwood will officiate. Interment to follow at Ponemah Cemetery in Bogalusa, LA.
