This morning (October 28, 2018), St. Tammany Parish Sheriff Randy Smith published a letter, addressed to media outlets regarding the Nannette Krentez murder investigation. Smith states the letter is “an effort to maintain transparency and to ensure the citizens of St. Tammany Parish are provided with all of the information that has been provided to the media”. Smith addresses related events and his issues with publicity, including how the matter is being used in to impact the current election for St. Tammany Parish Sheriff.
