Bogalusa Strong invites the public to join them at their monthly meeting on Tuesday, October 22, 2019."We often hear....we don't have anything here for.....Well, this is just not true when it comes to support for emotional & behavioral health issues...PALS, Operation Angel, Children's Support, Drug Addiction Resources, Opioid Consortium, Future Washington Parish/Bogalusa Detox Center. The Bogalusa Strong Focus Group partners: ADAPT, OLOAH, WPCHS, VOA, and several other community partners want to make sure everyone is aware of these resources and new services. So "we don't have" can be replaced by "we now have...."
Plus, Our Lady of Angels will be providing flu shots.
What is Bogalusa Strong?
Bogalusa Strong is a collaboration of community members, leaders, businesses and organizations working together to improve quality of life by promoting physical, social, and environmental health. Supported by Mayor Wendy Perrette, the Mayor’s Wellness Council, Our Lady of Angels Hospital, LSU AgCenter, and the Louisiana Department of Health Well-Ahead Louisiana, Bogalusa Strong works to empower a vision for a healthier community. Bogalusa Strong meets the 4th Tuesday of each month at 12:00 p.m. at the Bogalusa Country Club.
