On Wednesday, October 23, 2019, God sent his angels to welcome home His son, Linzie to his final resting place. He was born on August 17, 1954 to Irma Jean Scott and the late Jerry P. Scott in Bogalusa, LA.
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Juliette N. Scott of Bogalusa, LA; mother, Irma Jean (Cramer) Crain of Bogalusa, LA; seven daughters, Kinzie Scott, Tangica (Koyla) Collins, Linaricka Scott, Brittany Scott all of Bogalusa, LA, Shawanda Brister of Shrevport, LA, Khalilah (Todd) Mosley of Jacksonville, FL, and Lynkyra Scott of Austella, GA; five sons, Linzie (Amy) Scott of Bogalusa, LA, Terrance Quillens of Houston, TX, Jacque (Daniele) James of Baton Rouge, LA, Torrance Scott of Atlanta, GA, and Brett Chapman of Gulfport, MS; four brothers, Webster “PeeWee” Scott, Michael A. (Glenda) Scott, Fredrick (Silvan) Scott, and Daneal D. Scott all of Bogalusa, LA; four sisters, Sintra (L.C.) Jefferson, Theresa S. Wilson, Stephanie (Denver) Myers, and Ursula Scott of Baton Rouge, LA; and a host of nieces nephews and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harry P. Scott; and two sisters, Valeria M. and Gwendolyn Scott.
Visitation will be held at Crain and Sons Funeral Home of Bogalusa, LA from 5:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. Funeral Service will be on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at the Bogalusa High School Auditorium at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Raymond Mims, officiating. Interment in the Bogalusa Cemetery.
