Lillian Sorrell Penton, age 86, passed away on Sunday September 15, 2019, at her residence in Bogalusa, LA.
Mrs. Penton is survived by her husband Harold E. Penton of Bogalusa, LA; a daughter Sandra Penton (Don) Gendron of Bogalusa, LA.; two sons Harold Keith Penton of Bogalusa, LA and Kenneth E. Penton (Samantha Sharp) of Bogalusa, LA; 1 brother Tommy (Aline) Sorrell of Bogalusa, LA; grandchildren Carey S. Gendron, Kyle Gendron (Melissa Spears), Brandon Penton (Melaine Duncan), Thomas Penton (Michaela), Kayla Penton Bond, Taylor Lott, Gavin Goings; great grandchildren Chase Penton, Banyan Penton, Brinley Penton, Addy Grace Bond, Tyler Gendron, Skyler Gendron, Georgia Brees Gendron.
Mrs. Penton was preceded in death by her parents Thad and Francis Sorrell; her siblings Virgil Sorrell, Roxie Haik, Polly Taissin, Jenell Sorrell.
Visitation will begin on Monday September 16, 2019 at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home at 6:00pm until 9:00pm, and will continue on Tuesday September 17, 2019 from 9:00 until service time of 11:00am. The Rev. Patrick Magee and Rev. Marcus Rosa will officiate and interment will be held in the Garden of Peace.
