Tylertown Burglary of Blackwell's Family Medicine Solved

On September 9, 2019, the Tylertown Police Department responded to a business burglary at Blackwell's Family Medicine. The business was under construction and numerous hand tools were taken.

TPD requested assistance from the Walthall County Sheriff's Office Investigations Division and video surveillance was retrieved. Officers were able to identify Chris Young (age 56 and resident of N. Collins Street in Tylertown).

Search warrants were executed for Young's residence and vehicle and Young was arrested for Burglary of a Business. WCSO Investigator Justin Dyar was able to retrieve all the stolen hand tools that were taken by Young.

TPD Chief Brandon Bright and Sheriff Breland would like to thank the officers involved and the cooperation between the agencies.

All individuals are innocent until proven guilty in a Court of Law.
