Gladys Haddox Ingram
June 16, 1933 - August 21, 2019



Gladys Haddox Ingram, age 86 and a resident of Pine, died early Wednesday morning August 21, 2019 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home. She was a longtime member of Lawrence Creek Missionary Baptist Church. Gladys worked at Rutter Rex for several years before becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant and working at Heritage Manor for 15 years. During this time, she was also a self-employed beautician for many years. Gladys loved cooking for and spending time with her family, who she loved so much. She always had a “cake on the table” when anyone visited her home. Gladys enjoyed sewing, crocheting and working in her flower beds. She always had a special place in her heart for her pet cats.

Survived by: 3 Daughters and Sons in law: Marie and Wendell Vince of Pine, Deborah and Dudley Miller of Bogalusa, Faith and Dewayne Terrell of Pine; 2 Sons and a Daughter in law: H. Allen Willie of Franklinton, Herman and Barbara Ingram of Pine; 10 Grandchildren and Spouses: Jennifer Vince, Wendi and Terry Fortenberry, Summer Willie, Michael Willie, Casey and Whitney Terrell, Colton Terrell, Connor Terrell, David Ingram, Justin Ingram, Jessica Ingram; 5 Great-grandchildren: Noah Ingram, Alex Ingram, Christian Fortenberry, Callie Fortenberry, Azura Rose Terrell; Sister: Hazel Loso of Rutland, Vermont; Brother: Willie Haddox of Dayton, Texas; Former Husband and Father of her Children: Alvin Ingram of Pine; Also numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.

She was preceded in death by an infant daughter Lee Ingram, parents Buford Haddox and Maggie Cooper Haddox, sisters Thelma Bishop, Jessie Colley, a brother Archie Haddox and her first husband Allen Willie.

Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Friday August 23rd from 5:00 pm until 10:00 pm and after 9:00 am on Saturday. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 am Saturday with Eld. Duane Ball and Eld. Lerand Hunt officiating. Burial will follow in the Acy’s Creek Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
