Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff Daniel Edwards reports the arrest on June 21, 2019 of Leroy George, Jr. (51) of Hammond on the charge of Second Degree Rape. George is accused of forcibly raping a 16-year-old female.The incident took place on June 2, 2019, inside of an apartment in a complex located on Quick Boulevard in Hammond. George was taken into custody following a thorough investigation. Bond was set at $50,500.
