Our beloved Mother was called home on Saturday, May 11, 2019 to celebrate Mother’s Day at the feet of Jesus alongside her daughter Mary and her mother Estelle. She was born Bonnie Faye Mizell on February 12, 1938 to Thad and Estelle Mizell.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter Mary Hunt Pigott.
She is survived by her children, Edward Hunt, Pat Hunt Dial, Margaret Sperandio (James), Jerry Hunt (Beth), and her sisters Ina Galloway and Levene Brooks and her brother Delanus Mizell, also survived by 12 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at Poole Ritchie Funeral Home, 216 Alabama Avenue, Bogalusa, LA from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Interment will be private at a later date.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff of Resthaven Living Center for their loving, gentle care.
