Rebecca Lyn Colby
December 31, 2008 - March 27, 2019



Rebecca Lyn Colby was born at Lakeview Regional Medical Center on December 31, 2008 at 3:01 pm weighing 8 pounds and 19.5 inches long. She went to her eternal home in Heaven on March 27, 2019. Rebecca was special from the moment she was conceived. She always had a smile on her face that would light up the room every time she walked in. She impacted the lives of everyone she met. Rebecca loved being a big sister, as her brother and sister meant the world to her. They were the very best of friends and always together. She loved playing dress up and making new friends. Rebecca loved animals, especially her pet dog Sadie. She loved playing outside and any activity that allowed her to be in the beautiful outdoors. Rebecca is very loved by so many people and will be dearly missed.

Survived by: Parents: Amanda Beal and Michael Cook of Franklinton; Father and Step-mother: Jonathan and Loni Colby of Monroe; Siblings: Arianna Cook, Aiden-Scott Cook, Desanee’ Cook; Grandparents: Carol Dirr, Edward Carlisle, William Beal, Sherry Beal, Harold Johnson, Carol Cook, Patrick Colby; Uncles and Aunts: Tony Beal, Stephen Beal, Teresa Johnson and Chris Bangs, Terrie and Joey Gatlin; Also numerous cousins and other family members

She was preceded in death by her grandmother Maryann Magee.

Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Sunday May 5th from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm. A memorial service for family and friends will be held in the funeral home chapel at 3:00 pm Sunday with Rev. Will Graves officiating.
