Two Shooting Deaths in Ponchatoula May Be Domestic Incident

At 2:25 PM this afternoon (March 25, 2019), Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff Daniel Edwards reported a

double shooting that occurred at a residence on Kraft Road in Ponchatoula. Following a preliminary investigation, Sheriff Edwards has released the information that the bodies of Mica Sood Fitzhugh (41) and Robert Wolfe (44), both of Kraft Road, were discovered this morning after deputies responded to the residence in reference to a welfare check.

Throughout the day, the TPSO and the Louisiana State Police Crime Lab worked diligently to process the scene and collect evidence. Investigators have concluded their efforts and released the bodies to the Tangipahoa Parish Coroner's Office for a full forensic review. Preliminary investigation indicates the incident to be domestic in nature. No suspects are being sought at this time.

The investigation is on-going. Addition details will be released as they become available.
