Ponchatoula Man Arrested in Child Pornography Case

On Wednesday (March 27, 2019), investigators from Louisiana State Police Special Victims Unit in
partnership with the FBI- New Orleans Field Office, the United States Department of Homeland Security, the Louisiana Attorney General, Louisiana Probation & Parole, and the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested Darryl Crawford (43) of Ponchatoula for possession of 100 files of child pornography and the distribution of child pornography.

The investigation began on December 12, 2018, when an online undercover investigation yielded information that a device located at Crawford’s residence contained child pornography. Pursuant to a search warrant, investigators the child pornography on a laptop belonging to Crawford.
