Alberta "Pat" Spencer Ladner
July 20, 1926 - March 19, 2019



Alberta "Pat" Spencer Ladner, age 92 and a resident of Pine died Tuesday night March 19, 2019 at Riverside Medical Center. She was a longtime active member of Pine Missionary Baptist Church and a former employee of the Gaylord Bag Plant for 15 years. Pat loved cooking for her family and friends and also made great lemonade and liked her favorite tasty sweets. She also enjoyed gardening and going out to eat.

Survived by: Husband of 52 years: George Evon Ladner of Pine; 2 Daughters: Debra Millinder, Sara Lucinda Stewart; Sister in law: Margaret Rawls; Special Friend: Brice Davis; Also numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son George William Ladner, parents Ben Spencer and Vanda Moore Spencer, sister Alveretta Leatherwood, sisters and brothers in law Frankie and Robert Spencer, Dixie and Luther Jordan, brother Thelbert Spencer, brothers and sisters in law Commodore and Grace Spencer, Elton and Muriel Spencer, Lincoln “Dock” and Pauline Spencer.

Visitation will be at Pine Missionary Baptist Church Friday March 22nd from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and after 9:00 am on Saturday. A funeral service will be held in the church at 11:00 am Saturday with Bro. Adam Luper, Bro. Shad Pittman and Bro. Matt Pittman officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Community Cemetery.
