Michael Dewayne Johnson, 52, a resident of Magnolia, MS., passed away on March 19, 2019 at his residence.
Visitation will be Saturday, March 23, 2019 from 10 AM until services at 1 PM at Bluff Springs Baptist Church. Dr. Victor Walsh will officiate and burial will be in Silver Springs cemetery.
Mike was born on December 23, 1966 in Liberty, TX. He is the son of the late, James Wilson “Jimmy” Johnson and Ernestine Pierce Johnson.
He was a retired self-employed Millwright and a member of the Bluff Springs Baptist Church. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend. He was a cattleman who loved to hunt, fish with his children and grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved him.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, James “Jimmy Jr.” Johnson.
He is survived by his four sons, Michael D. Johnson, Jr. wife, Ashley McKay Johnson, Chandler Benton Johnson, Gage Camron Johnson and Slade Rimes Johnson; one brother, John “Johnny” Johnson, two grandchildren, Remi Michael Johnson and Jon-Maddox Browning Johnson with numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Mark Bond, Mitch Bond, Lamar Cook, Jason DeBlanc, Todd Laird and David Simmons.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Blake Johnson, Jay Johnson and Jake DeBlanc.
