Ruby Kennedy Dragon, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 in Mandeville, La. She was 88.
She was preceded in death by her husband Aristide “Benny” Dragon, her parents, James Edward and Margaret Rester Kennedy, her siblings, Athelea Tullis, Joseph Kennedy, Thelma Reech, Hazel Jeter and Clara Whitten.
She is survived by her children, Randy Thomas (Marietta), Margaret Piazza (Michael), stepchildren, Sidney Dragon and Laura Bechtol, her grandchildren, Lauren Pittman (Terry), Hope Thomas, Daniel Thomas, Alex Piazza, Nikki Piazza, Mia Piazza and Isabelle Bechtol and 6 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Harmony Missionary Baptist Church, 28039 Luke Pace Road, Angie, La and the visitation will begin at 11:00 am until service time. Burial will be private at a later date.
