Dutch Oven Cooking is March 9th at the State Park

Join the @BogueChittoDutchOvenCookers, a chapter of the Louisiana Dutch Oven Society, for a Dutch Oven Gathering, as they prepare a variety of dishes in this outdoor cooking method that is growing in popularity.

Cooking demonstrations begin about 9:00 am and pots will be on the table for a tasting at 12:00 pm. This happens every 2nd Saturday at the Bogue Chitto State Park.

Founded in 1948, Jubilee Days began as a celebration of the harvest and of God's blessings on the community. It has since become a celebration of the unique heritage of Zion, Illinois.
