Trespassing on RR Tracks Leads to Fugitive Capture

Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff Daniel Edwards reports that deputies assisted Canadian National Agent
Josh Fletcher in the area of Crapanzano Road at Highway 190 in Hammond that started with a subject trespassing on the railroad track armed with a weapon. The white male fled on foot into a wooded area. After setting up a perimeter that involved several responding deputies, the subject was apprehended.

He was identified as Anthony Holliday (34) of Ponchatoula. A search of the area where Holliday was first observed revealed a green bag containing four shotguns and a fishing pole. Authorities subsequently learned that Holliday was wanted on multiple outstanding warrants from the United States Marshals Office, Hammond Police Department, and the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office. The warrants consisted of  Failure to Register as a Sex Offender, Possession of Stolen Property, and warrants for traffic violations.

Holliday was additionally charged with Flight from Officers, Criminal Trespassing, and Convicted Felon with Firearms.
