Michael Reid Schilling, a native of Bogalusa, LA, and a resident of Crossroads, MS died on Thursday evening at Our Lady of Angels in Bogalusa, LA at the age of 59. He was born on January 12, 1959.
He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Deborah Paige Schilling of Crossroads, MS; a son Byron Michael Schilling (Abbie) of Chalmette, LA; a daughter, Laura Schilling Kintner (Bryant) of Bogalusa, LA; 3 grandchildren, Theodore Byron Schilling, Eleanor Lynn Schilling, and Lucille Rose Schilling; a brother, Jim Schilling (Henrietta) of Lafayette, LA; a sister, Lisa Schilling of Houma, LA. Also survived by church family, and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Byron and Elaine Schilling.
Funeral Services will be held in the Chapel of Poole – Ritchie Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at 11 A.M. with Rev. Marcus Rosa officiating. Interment will follow in the Paige Cemetery, Crossroads, MS. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 9 A.M. until service time at 11 A.M. Active Pallbearers will be Naul Karan, Bryant Kintmer, Bill Langston, Andrew Schilling, James Schilling, Michael Schilling, Myron Schilling, Scott Schilling, William Schilling, and George Sheridan.
